Client wisdom
A quote from one of my clients this morning, "You can't make good choices when you're panicking."

I have personally struggled with the complexities of exercise. My husband & I have debated weight strengthening vs. cardio for years. In the process, we have both learned (or more appropriately, accepted) is that a balance of both is necessary. This article is quite enlightening.

Procrastination
I am embarrassed to say that my facebook page has gotten all my attention, mostly because I can post from my iPhone REALLY easily (and...I am a closet procrastinator ~ shhh, don't tell!!). I have dubbed 2010, "the year of change." When things feel out of control or over-whelming, I remind myself that I am in the midst of transition (most of which I am enjoying).
The past four months have been a whirlwind filled with amazing changes and people. I am surrounded by dedicated, loving, supportive and very gifted practitioners at Abundant Health Acupuncture. I couldn't feel more supported or welcomed. It has also made me realize how much I rely on Chinese medicine for my whole family. Whenever a doctor says, "take this pill or there's nothing more we can do," I immediately call my acupuncturist. It is a form of medicine that requires the patients participation, a philosophy I deeply believe in.
Relocating to Tacoma is one of the best personal & business choices I've made. As an example, I have had the great fortune to belong to an incredible group of female business owners, Shopgirl Tacoma, who inspire & motivate me. In all the years as a business owner, I have never been encouraged to make a mark in my community until now. I look forward to a long, fun and exciting relationship with this community of women.
